Sue Monk Kidd

Sue was born in the town of Sylvester Georgia, where writing is influenced by the beauty of the place. She discovered her talent of writing when she would listen to her father’s imaginative stories. Sue wasn't a writer her whole life but when she turned thirty she began to experience an intellectual and spiritual flowering. She began to study the classics of Western spirituality, philosophy, depth psychology and mythology.
